Rural Garden Retreat on the Mountainside

Tucked into the mountainside looking onto Kootenay Lake and the 9000 foot peaks of the Purcell Mountain Range, The Old Hen’s Roost is a retreat for the weary and a playground for the gardener. Located on 3 acres just north of historic Kaslo, BC , it provides a haven of organically grown and sustainably managed vegetable gardens, flower beds and forest. Enjoy the peace of this rural setting while staying in a self contained suite with private bathroom, kitchenette and separate entrance. Surrounded by the peace and quiet of a rural mountain community, with clean air and pure mountain water, it has the privilege of being a part of one of the most pristine and beautiful places remaining on this planet.
